How to Prepare for the IELTS in One Month: Study Schedule for the Academic IELTS
With only a month to prepare for the Academic IELTS exam, it’s likely you’re feeling some pressure! The IELTS is challenging, even for test-takers who are very proficient in English—which is why it’s helpful to use an IELTS guide as you learn how to study for IELTS.
During the next four weeks, you should engage with English as much as possible. Go out of your way to find opportunities to speak, write, listen, and read in English. You can learn a lot in a month, especially new vocabulary!
Of course, it is also critical that you use this time to become very familiar with the IELTS exam and how to approach each section of the test. And that is what this study schedule is designed to do!
The schedule is useful for students with varying degrees of English proficiency. Plan to spend between 2-3 hours studying each day (although some days will require more time and some less). Students with lower English proficiency will need additional time to complete the daily tasks simply because they will have more incorrect answers to review from the practice exercises. (Lower proficiency students may also want to spend extra time reviewing passages, questions, tasks, and audio tracks.
Even if you don’t have time to complete all the listed tasks for a given day or week, do what you can! Modify the schedule to fit your circumstances (if you have less than a month to prep, you might even consider using our One-Week IELTS Study Plan). The goal of the study schedule is to keep you organized, motivated and on track with your IELTS preparation. We’ll discuss it on Group , but recommended to complete your Studies Monthly :)
Each week, there are six days of preparation. One day per week will be a rest day, which isn’t included in the schedule. Use that day to relax and regain your strength. If you study every day, it is likely you will get tired and benefit less from your study time.

Why Most IELTS Test Takers Score Below Band 6 - And What YOU Can Do About It
If you must take the IELTS test and this is your first time, or you have failed to reach your target score in IELTS before, please know this:
The latest official report from the IELTS Organization showed that test takers from the top 40 countries scored on average below Band 6 (in Academic and General Training tests).
At the same time most universities want you to score 7 or above - and most immigration laws , Immigration and Citizenship gov. boarders require band 6.5 or higher at least.
But how can you beat the average? Is it possible?
Yes, it is definitely possible. You CAN beat the statistics and raise your score to Band 7, possibly Band 8 - or even Band 9.
IF you're willing to listen.
From GrowSkills Admission and high qualified teachers ,
Dear Friend,
Any successful IELTS test-taker knows that …
...there is NO magic way of getting a great score in the exam.
Just remember
More practice .. More gain :)
Here is the formula: Your success depends on one thing only - the way you solve the tasks. The way you answer the questions and write your reports and essays. And people, who know the right way, get higher scores. But people who don't - score average or below.
It's really that simple.
Good news is that anyone can learn the right way quickly and easily. Even better news is that in one moment you could have access to it.
You must get a high score in IELTS, and have no idea how to do it.
Writing a good essay is hard, because you don't have enough ideas and they take long to generate. By the time you have something to write about, there is not enough time left to finish your writing. You have trouble expressing your thoughts and the sentences come out just wrong. So remember More practice .. More gain :)
