"English camp" is a monthly program that learning English language for all ages.
The English Language Programs (ELP) at GrowSkills Institute offer instruction in English as a second or international language and exposure to the cultures of the United States and UK. We also offer teacher training, testing, consulting services and cross-cultural training. In addition, we contribute to the ESL profession as a whole by our work as researchers, presenters and educators.
GrowSkills General English (IESOL and ISESOL) and Young Learners qualifications are available.
Who is the English camp program ?
The Program is designed for students who Plans to improve their academic English. make English a first language. Want to meet other persons from all over the world. Want to learn more about English camp Most of all, the program is designed for persons who want to improve their English skills while having fun. Most of all, the program is designed for students who want to improve their English skills while having fun.
The English Program:
program offers intensive instruction that quickly improves students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Entering students, however, must have at least beginning English skills so they can fully participate in the program. One reason GrowSkills students progress rapidly is that small class sizes allow the camp to custom instruction, tailoring assignments to students' individual needs. Often students work in pairs on assignments, specially designed for their interests and skill level.
Writing:
Students develop fundamental points of grammar, spelling, and mechanics for emerging writers, putting those skills to use in papers on academic subjects. Individual areas of weakness, located in the initial placement exam, are quickly addressed through workbook assignments and in-class tutoring. Frequent quizzes and immediate feedback on papers allow students to progress quickly.
Essential Vocabulary:
Vocabulary is the bedrock of any language. In this class, students read academic book chapter and articles to build a vocabulary appropriate for studying new content in English. Students learn math, science, social science, and literary vocabulary to prepare them to read and write about topics appropriate to their academic level. This vocabulary is prac- ticed in the writing and speaking they do in their other classes.
